The GPT Store is a place for ChatGPT users to find custom versions of the chatbot that are designed for specific use cases. OpenAI claims that ChatGPT users have created over 3 million custom GPTS — an mind boggling number considering the feature was only launched a few months ago.

I've found the GPT store to be incredibly helpful due to its highly customized bots that deliver remarkable results with ease. For instance, using a programming-focused GPT, I successfully built a sophisticated custom website for an upcoming project. This GPT efficiently generated several thousand lines of optimized web code in just a few hours. This is especially impressive considering that a typical programmer usually produces only 10-20 lines of code per hour! The efficiency and effectiveness are truly astounding!

Some examples of custom GPTs include Consensus, which helps users with research, and AiPDF, which lets users upload PDF files as big as 2GB and ask questions about them. (I linked a couple of this weeks favorites below)

OpenAI said that monetization is also coming to the GPT Store later this quarter, which will initially enable US creators of GPTs to earn revenue based on usage. The company said it will disclose more details soon.

While the R1 integrates with popular apps like Spotify and Uber, its real charm lies in its ability to perform complex tasks that would typically require multiple apps. For instance, planning and booking a trip becomes a seamless experience. The device's camera, powered by computer vision (AI technology), adds another layer of convenience, allowing users to generate recipes from items in their fridge or edit documents by simply pointing the camera at a laptop.

Rabbit's innovative "teach rabbit" feature is particularly intriguing, enabling users to train the R1 to perform specific tasks, thereby personalizing their experience. The product launch video includes a demonstration of this feature with image generation in the Midjourney app.

The R1 is a promising option for those seeking a less tech-saturated life without sacrificing modern conveniences. The introduction of spot Bitcoin ETFs marks a significant milestone in the cryptocurrency market. Unlike Bitcoin futures ETFs, spot Bitcoin ETFs invest directly in Bitcoin as the underlying asset, rather than derivative contracts based on Bitcoin prices. This development is anticipated to have a substantial impact on the crypto industry.
