Google is working on Genesis, a revolutionary AI tool that has the potential to change the way news is reported.

Genesis is a generative language model for creating news items from scratch. The tool is still under development, but it has already produced articles unique from those written by human journalists

Tools like Genesis could save journalists valuable time, enhance accuracy, and greatly increase productivity…

On the flip side, using AI in journalism can lead to a loss of the human touch…I believe that as AI becomes more prevalent in our day to day content it’ll be the unique content that stands out.

Meta’s new Llama 2 🦙 .

Meta has announced the release of Llama 2, an open-source AI model that is now available for free to developers for both research and commercial purposes.

Llama 2 is expected to rival the power capabilities of ChatGPT, and has been praised for offering more customizability at a lower cost. Meta claims that Llama 2 has been trained 2 trillion tokens 🤯 

Meta's collaboration with Microsoft allows developers to utilize Microsoft Azure to build within Llama 2, providing access to cloud-native tools.

While the true power of Llama 2 compared to ChatGPT is yet to be determined, early indications suggest promise for the new model.

This is also an optimal time to release a new model as OpenAI's recent language model has faced criticism for declining accuracy and power and developers are now open to looking in other directions to complete their goals.

Although other companies are developing their own AI models, none have enjoyed the commercial advantage that ChatGPT has had. Google's Bard AI chatbot is still experimental, while Apple's forthcoming chatbot remains shrouded in secrecy.

Is there finally a worthy contender for OpenAI’s ChatGPT?…Time will tell…

ChatGPT finally makes it to android 👾 

Two months after launching for iOS, ChatGPT is available to “pre-order” for Android users who have been waiting for that “one tap access” to GPT.

This is a great opportunity for OpenAI to maintain or increase momentum as they’ve experienced their first decline in users this past month.
