📣 News: Elon Musk Launches xAI 🚀

Elon Musk, the world-renowned entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has launched a new artificial intelligence company called xAI. The company's goal is to "understand the true nature of the universe," and it is expected to work closely with Tesla and Twitter, which Musk also owns.

Musk has long been a vocal advocate for the development of artificial intelligence, and he has said that he believes AI could eventually become more intelligent than humans.

Elon has decided to put together a powerhouse of individuals to fulfill this vision and includes engineers from OpenAI, DeepMind, Google Research, Microsoft Research, and Tesla.

OpenAI creates “Super Alignment” team to protect humanity 🌎️ 

OpenAI has formed a new team - “The Superalignment Team” — full of scientists, engineers, and researchers to manage the risks of a potential super-intelligent AI system that could exceeds human capabilities.

OpenAI believes that we're only a decade or less away from the creation of an AI that outsmarts humans, and we need to start managing the risks of such a future scenario right now.

OpenAI says they’re dedicating 20% of the compute they’ve secured to date to this effort.
